New Model on Board - NATHAN CARTER

BIG BIG BIIIIIIIG news here.

It’s official, I am now the jammiest person on the planet. Not only did I see my work published in national press over 20 times this year, I met some incredible humans too, including the lovely Nathan Carter.

The story with Nathan started on a very expensive boat on Lough Eske, in August. Magical day to be honest, the sun was shining, it was a shoot for RSVP magazine and we didn’t stop laughing from beginning to end. Everything you’ve heard about him being a nice guy is 100% true, if you don’t like him then there’s something wrong with you.

During the shoot I asked him if he’d ever done any modelling and if he would like to. He said he hadn’t and yes he would like to. And that’s how my big news came about.

Nathan is now represented by Noir Photique for commercial modelling work.

It’s a no-brainer, he’s obviously a good looking guy, has a huge and loyal fan-base and is a gifted performer. But the world hadn’t seen him how I saw him in my head, so we arranged a couple of shoots to create a portfolio for him.

That first shoot was crazy, there were very expensive cars, aeroplanes and castles involved (some of which we are saving for next years shoot, deciding to simplify the first one so my brain didn’t explode) and the results are insane.

He’s a natural in front of the camera and has quality to him that I believe will sell fashion. I’m excited to see who I can get on board with him.

Then there’s Nathan’s manager - John Farry. Now there’s a clever guy. He rang me not long after this shoot (I was drying my hair at the time) to ask if the photos could be used for the official calendar and new album cover. Obviously I said yes because no one says no to John.

I brought an amazing team with me too, Belle Hair Studio, The Style Studio (for hair & makeup) Connor Tisza Schelling (amazing model & videographer) and my eldest daughter Freya (as production assistant)

Connor made a cool BTS video of the shoot, which no one has seen yet but I’ve included here for you all.

Then Connor was asked to shoot some ads and a music video for him up in Dublin. I was invited along to capture BTS this time. It was fun to meet the whole team. It was also nice not to be under pressure for a change and I really did enjoy playing second fiddle - pardon the pun.
